We spent a rainy Saturday driving around our old neighbourhood and looking for nice things. Here are two of the treasures I found:

I just love vintage kitchenware, especially Pyrex. Just the other day I talked myself out of buying a whole dinnerset (complete with salt & pepper shakers!), so I was happy when I found this at a Salvation Army store. It also has matching cups!

There were three of these amazing baskets, in two different stores. Did a 1970s picnic wholesaler get rid of their stock? Hehe. I love the basket, and the red inside is so pretty. I think it needs a proper blanket, and some delicious cakes, and a thermos of tea, and then we will be ready to have many picnic adventures.

And… I said goodbye to my dark hair. It just wasn’t working out. After watching so many episodes of Mad Men I decided that I really needed to be a redhead :3 I love it! B. did a wonderful job helping me with all the messy bleach and dye process ?

This picture shows the true colour a bit better. Love!

I hope everyone had a happy Halloween! People don’t really celebrate Halloween here but I love it! I was so excited that we got two super cute little trick or treaters. Even if we had no sweets for them, because lollies don’t last long in this house! I dug in to my sticker collection and found two big sheets of cute animal stickers for them instead.

    Ooooh that bag is so precious!! And I love your new hair colour, I can’t dye my hair because it’s darker-than-night black, I’ll have to bleach it for any sort of colour to show, which will frizz it beyond repair ;_;
    Red heads will look really good in braids though :3
