I’ve been loving lemon sorbet lately. I think I could easily eat this whole carton in one sitting :9

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words and congratulations. You’re all so sweet! We’re both very excited!

I’m feeling pretty good, just the usual first trimester business- sleepy, queasy, hungry, lots of weird aches and pains. This tiredness is something like I’ve never felt before. I’m trying to slow down a little and give myself the rest that I seem to be needing. It’s very early bedtimes and lots of couch naps around here, in between dragging myself around at work.

It’s my birthday month, so I have lots of fun birthday themed things planned for Royal Milk Tea this September! And I’m so excited to welcome some lovely sponsors for the first time. Please visit them all and say hello!

lemon definitely helps nausea — magical!

fruit stuff in general got me thru the bad months. i could NOT stop eating apples. mmmmmm.

Mm, I’m loving sour green apples at the moment. It’s funny how fast my tastes change too! Something that sounds delicious is completely unappealing by the time I finish making it. Le sigh! But everyone tells me ‘morning sickness makes healthy babies’ so that makes me feel a bit better.

Lemon sorbet! It’s been an age since I had a little lemon sorbet. Must remedy that and soon.

(Enjoy your birthday month. My own birthday is tomorrow and I am stretching it out all week long. Happy September to you.)
