I love love love Mel Stringer’s artwork. Recently she had a little sale in her etsy store, so I bought myself some goodies~

Since I am such a fan of toy cameras, I knew I needed this 10 girls with cameras sticker pack ♥ But they’re too cute to use! I want to keep them forever!

And I love wooden jewelery, so I think this sweet little mushroom brooch is perfect!

Yay, treasures! Yay, afternoon sunlight and winter weather that feels almost like spring!

Such a cute brooch! I spent the day in the library today, so calm and serene, I can see how you love working in one :) x

That brooch is adorable! I love mushrooms imagery. It looks so good on your cardigan, while I was in Melbourne I bought a vintage ‘bird fanciers society’ badge from an op shop and just pinned it so a similar looking cardigan tonight, so seeing your post has re-affirmed to me that I’ve made the right styling choice! haha :)

That badge sounds lovely! I was never really into brooches before, but lately I really like how they don’t get in the way like big necklaces sometimes do :)

    love that pin!

and i LOVE your hair. i’ve been considering going red lately (maybe after the summer)…how’d ya do it??

Aw, thank you! I always dye my own hair. I just use box colours… I think this one was Napro ‘Palette’ colour in Natural Light Auburn. My natural hair colour is a lightish-medium brown (probably a little bit lighter than yours) so I usually choose colours that are like ‘golden light brown’ or ‘light amber’ and they usually make a nice red. I think the browny red/auburn/golden colours work better than the really intense reds which seem to fade out really fast. Even if your hair is a bit darker I think the lighter colours make a nice subtle highlight type of look~
