Muffin days

Lately I’ve been trying to make more treats at home instead of buying pre-packaged sweets and snacks. The other day, someone mentioned that muffins are good to freeze and then heat up for breakfasts. That sounded so delicious that I decided to make a big batch ♥

I used a banana muffin recipe from the Frankie ‘Afternoon Tea‘ book and modified it a little~ I doubled the recipe, divided the plain batter, and made half mixed berry & oatmeal, and half orange & poppy/chia seed. They turned out really well!

Now the trick is to get some of them into the freezer before they get eaten… Hehe.

    that sounds delicious.. but yeah i would have a hard time actually saving the muffins.. things like that don’t usually make it to my freezer – unless i make sooooo many that i can’t possibly eat them all in 1 day :)

    I have been doin’ the same thing! I’ve told myself I need to cook and bake more. It makes me feel a lot less like I’m made up of food preservatives and fat, it’s nice C: I’d never thought to freeze muffins before, definitely giving that a shot.

    I’m always trying to find ways to save money and I really enjoy baking, so this is perfect. :3 My boyfriend is always in favor of baking sweets, too. XD
