We took a mini roadtrip on the weekend, up to the hills to enjoy the beautiful Autumn weather. The sky was really that blue! It’s so lovely up there. And we found a neat chair for only $5 at a church sale! And managed to fit it into our boot!
We stopped on the way home for a late lunch in our old neighbourhood. I love hotel food! They were kind and fixed me up a roast of the day without the roast :9
I never understood people being excited by a car before. To me, it was just a means of getting around when it was too far or too difficult to use public transport. So it’s amazing now to find that driving can be really enjoyable! It was so much fun to drive the little European Carryall out on the freeway… Much nicer than my usual ‘stuck being some knuckle-dragger doing 55 in a 60 zone’ trip to work.

Thank you! We went up through the Adelaide Hills. I think we stopped in Oakbank for a church sale and then went to Woodside to look in antique stores. Then home via Parkside for lunch~
