I’m so happy that I finally took the time to learn how to knit. It always seemed so daunting but now I really love it~

For my first baby knitting project, I chose this bunny hat pattern because it is cute (and easy to make).

I love the little ears! Eep!

Now I am working on a small crib blanket in these colours, inspired by this one I found via the Purl Bee.

Yay knitting! I’m waiting until we know if we’re having a boy or girl (we find out very soon!), and then I can start making some cute dresses or cardigans~

That is just the cutest thing ever! I just recently got back into knitting and crocheting. I forgot how much fun it is! It’s a good stress reliever too :) I can’t wait to see your finished blanket!

It is such a good stress relief! I think making crochet granny squares is very relaxing.

How precious! I just started knitting recently and it really is a lot of fun, and it can be so relaxing. I haven’t got to anything beyond a scarf yet, but this little project of yours has made me excited to make more knitted goodies!

It is really relaxing, isn’t it! I just need to master the art of knitting while I watch tv, then I will be set :)

Oh fun. I just started learning to knit last spring and fell in love. There are so many cute things to make for kiddos, and adults too obviously, if only I had more time! :) I can’t wait to see what else you stitch up.

There are so many cute things to knit! I like knitting for kids because it’s smaller so I can finish it faster, hehe. I’d love to knit something for myself but I am not that patient!

I know! So many people keep it as a surprise to the end but no way, I’m not that patient! Having to wait until 20 weeks is hard enough.

Gorgeous! Also, remember that many babies have a bad reaction to real wool against their skin.

    1. Lyndall on 04.12.2011 at 00:55 (Reply)

I didn’t know that! I think this isn’t actually real wool, so hopefully it will be okay :)

    1. Lyndall on 04.12.2011 at 00:54 (Reply)

I like doing garter stitch! It’s so relaxing because you don’t have to remember to change between knit and purl~

I’m jealous! I wish I’d learnt to knit so I could knit my baby some equally adorable things! I’ll just have to commission my Nan instead I think :)

I’ve got lots of other people commissioned to knit for me too! I’m such a slow knitter so I’ll take all the help I can get :)
