We love going out for breakfast and hadn’t tried it at Ikea, so we thought we would go on an adventure. Also, we needed a new coffee table…

I do love anywhere that you can push a button to make a nice cup of coffee. I need one of those in my house.

In case you are wondering about the breakfast, it was disgusting! But it cost $2 so we shouldn’t have expected much. It’s hard to find places for cooked breakfast when I don’t eat meat (so no bacon) or eggs (because they make me sick just thinking about them…) I picked out the bits that I wanted and gave the rest to B, who tells me the bacon tasted ‘steamed’. We have learned our lesson!

I had to eat from the tray because my plate was tainted with runoff from the scrambled eggs… Today we made pancakes at home which were much nicer ♥

Things I love about Ikea:
Cheap ice creams
Endless cups of coffee and soda
Finding neat bargains in the ‘as-is’ section
Picking out our future children’s bedding and toys in the kid’s section~
These big dandelion fluffball looking lampshades (if only we had pendant lights and higher ceilings…)
Driving out near the airport makes me feel like I am going on holidays! Kinda…

Ikea is so nice for a bite to eat! I always get boiled potatoes and their sweedish gravy! Very yummy.

I like the non-breakfast foods :) I usually get chips with gravy, so healthy! I just like being able to refill my soda over and over, hardly anywhere does free refills here!

thank you for being my ikea breakfast guinea pig! i’d always see the signs for 2 dolla brekky and feel intrigued…

however, i DO love their swedish meatballs/mashed potatoes/lignon berry sauce. even if it’s just about the yuckiest unhealthiest combo evar. Mmmmmmm.

There were TONS of people eating the breakfast! I don’t understand. Sure it’s cheap but look at it! Just go home and make some eggs and baked beans on toast (blech). I think for cheap breakfast McDonalds is better :) I sound so unhealthy! I’m a vegetarian who usually eats fresh produce, I promise!

The meatballs look good! Actually their other food is pretty nice, even if our Ikea is like the homing ground for all cheapskate families who want to eat out (I tell B. it’s like a vision of our future when we have children, haha!). I like the cakes… And coffee… Mmm…
