Hello twenty eleven!

Happy new year! Goodbye 2010, hello 2011.

We spent the last day of 2010 watching early fireworks at Brighton beach with our friends (like last year, and then stayed up all night talking and listening to the New Yorker’s 85th birthday playlist. And then I saw the sun come up as we drove home and took this picture of the Moon and Venus before I rolled into bed~

I love the making yearly goal lists, and this year I was inspired by Elsie’s idea to make a list of 26 goals that I’d like to achieve before I turn 27. My birthday is late September so it feels like I have almost a whole year to work on them.

My yearly horoscope says ‘At the end of the day, you’re an artist — and that’s that.’ Okay then! ♥
