I’ve always loved the idea of decorating for Halloween. It’s a shame people don’t really celebrate in Australia, because it seems like such a fun holiday. We had the dubious honour of being the only people in our street who decorated. We were the only ones with Christmas lights last year too! Oh well, at least we’re showing our holiday spirits…

The fake cobwebs on the door were also filled with black (plastic) spiders. Eep!

I used Elsie’s tutorial for tissue paper pom-poms… Mine turned out a little more like fluffy bows. But they still looked kinda cute~

Last year we had two really sweet kids who trick or treated… this year we had one teenagery guy in a Jason mask, with a non-costumed friend. Lame! I guess they really wanted the chocolates we were handing out, heh.

This is my first year decorating and it was so much fun! The cobwebby door was a nice touch, I think :)

ooh! i loved halloween this year… even though I was doing homework and didn’t have the time for a costume. imagine that… a costume designer without the time to make her own costume. actually quite sad, eh? lol. hope yours was spectacular, darling!

    love, polly

Australia just isn’t a place where people get crazy for holidays, it’s such a shame… except at Christmas! Maybe we use up all our celebrating energy then, hehe.
