I can’t believe it’s almost 2013. Really my whole life at the moment is a state of disbelief at how fast time flies, I think it’s something to do with having a Bebe who is always growing and changing- a very constant reminder of time. I feel so emotional about reaching the end of my first year as a mum, it has been such a journey and I’m looking forward to seeing what will happen in the years ahead.
Blogging has changed a lot for me since Felix came along, it used to be such a fun hobby for me but gradually I’ve had less and less time and inspiration. I think a lot of that has to do with the extreme lack of spare time which comes with the territory of motherhood! I’m glad there are things like Instagram which provide ways to capture little snapshots here and there. I’m still able to fulfil my desire to preserve and share without having to sit down and make a big long blog entry. But I think for now, I’m going to take a break from sharing my life here, and the start of a new year feels like a good time to make this change.
I’m so glad I have chronicled my whole pregnancy and early days of motherhood, there are so many little things that I’m sure I would have forgotten if I didn’t write them down. I’ve decided to make all of my entries private for now, but I will keep the memories for myself like a little digital scrapbook. I’ve met so many wonderful friends through the online world and I hope to keep in touch with all of you ♥ So many of you have been amazing sources of help and support through the time we have known one another. I love how the internet has become such a modern-day village.
I’m still going to update on Instagram and will post on Twitter and Faceboook so please feel free to find and add me.

I will miss you here very much, but I absolutely understand where you’re coming from! Spend all of this precious time with your beautiful little boy because it’ll be gone by SO FAST.
I am often tempted to do the same. I love the community I have found through blogging but often wonder if I want to continue for all to see. Only time will tell, but I do know I will enjoy continuing to be in touch on Instagram.
It will be very sad to see your lovely blog end, but we all understand the reason for it. I hope life treats you and your little family well and have a wonderful new year :3
