Happy weekend! Here are some things that I am loving at the moment:
- This moon cradle from Creme Anglaise is so amazing!
- I think xMotherx might be my favourite etsy store right now. I have dreams of going to live in the country where I will bake lots of things while wearing one of these pretty aprons…
- Montessori-inspired wooden toys are so nice. I especially like this hand kite and these wooden eggs.
- I love Talia Chirstine’s basket makeover DIY. I would have a whole house full of cute wicker baskets if I had room~
- I love these colourful melamine plates from Huset. I think the lion is my favourite.
- This might be the best (and easiest) banana bread recipe I’ve found! Very important for this house where we only like just ripe bananas. I made it the other day and used golden syrup instead of honey :9
- I just love the illustration styles in vintage children’s books.
- These arrow brushes for Photoshop are really cute!
- The beautiful photos in Hila’s post about Melbourne is making me want to go on there on a little holiday very badly.

My due date has passed, and we’re still waiting for Bebe. My midwife is coming back on Wednesday next week to give me a stretch & sweep to see if we can encourage things along, if I’m still pregnant by then. Only 6% of babies arrive on their due date, and a ‘full term’ pregnancy is between 37-42 weeks, so I’m feeling pretty relaxed. I know he’ll be coming out eventually!

Happy weekend everyone! We have a holiday here on Monday so I’m excited to get an extra-long time away from work.

Here are some things I am loving at the moment:
- Easy-to-make baby hats! I’m going to try my hand at making some of these, since nice newborn-sized hats are really hard to find. I like this monkey hat, and this one which kinda looks like it has kitty ears when worn~
- House of Humble is one of my favourite blogs, and I love their ‘Reclaim’ series! Two of my favourites areReclaim: Doilies and Reclaim: Plastic Bottles.
- La wrote a really interesting post about Creating your own space~ I love her wallpaper! She mentioned collecting vintagey treasures from within the family which is something I like to do, it’s so fun having things and knowing their history ♥
- The free printables at Love vs. Design are so pretty! My favourites are the 2012 calendar, this cutepinata invitation, and this owl library card.
- Isn’t making a happy jar such a fun idea?
- I love this list of 75 children’s books that build character. It might just be my hormones, but I got a little teary reading some of the descriptions…
- Liss at Daydream Lily shared a link to these wonderful photoshop curves from I Have Something to Tell You. It makes me feel more inspired to try taking photos with something other than my iPhone~
- My current obsession is looking at nurseries on Apartment Therapy. We’re not even having a nursery (Bebe will be in a cot in our room- I like to tell people it’s because room sharing reduces the risk of SIDS, not because we only have one bedroom, hehe…), but I just love seeing how people set things up. Especially the little reclaimed spaces, like this one.

Happy Saturday! Here are some things I am loving at the moment:

These handmade baby moccasins are so beautiful!
I did a guest post over at Imagine Our Life, where I shared some of my favourite handmade baby things.
Who else is excited about Christmas already? I want to try this gorgeous snow-globe DIY~
Home made coffee syrup! So perfect! I’m going to try making gingerbread flavour so I can have homemade gingerbread lattes.
I love this easy way to make glittery Play Dough!

Happy Saturday! I’ve been saving a lot of pretties to my ‘dream dresses‘ board on Pinterest lately. Here are five of my favourites~

Jackie Dress in Blueberry from Ruche.
I love anything inspired by Jackie Kennedy, and I think this dress would look perfect in summer with wavy hair, big sunglasses, and some pretty sandals.

Sophisticate and Kaboodle Dress by ModCloth.
I love lace dresses. Is it possible to own too many off-white, lacey dresses? I will have to do further research~

Pretty Mexican embroidered dress. Made in Technicolour has some beautiful ones.
I love Mexican embroidery. I think a nice long one of these dresses, like this one would be so perfect in the warmer weather ♥

Cotton & Nylon Dress by Tracey Reese.
I love how this dress has a classic shape, like a mid-century vintage dress. I think it would look really pretty worn over a pale coloured lace slip.

I think the colours in this 1950s Neiman Marcus dress are just amazing. Such a beautiful colour story ♥
