There is change in the air here as we start making plans to add to our little family ? I’m not expecting yet, but I am working on a new crochet project: baby leg warmers!

They are the perfect project for me because they are small enough to finish quickly (unlike trying to make a blanket…), and not too complicated. I’m loving mustardy yellows at the moment, and the ball of wool Enken gave me is the perfect colour. I’m thinking red and white stripes (ala the baby in The Labyrinth) might be nice too…

I’m using a slightly modified version of this pattern if anyone wants to make some leg warmers of their own~

I’m excited too! I will have to ask you all my questions when the time comes because I hardly have any friends with babies!

Mustard and grey/white are so perfect together, your baby is going to be so stylish! I love them!

Ooh, grey is a nice idea… Grey and white maybe! I have a lot of white baby wool that is leftover from when I was born (my mum never throws anything out which was nice when I suddenly decide to want ‘vintagey’ everything) so I’m using that for a lot of projects :)

I’m knitting you a baby blanket. I got seven squares done. I’m using a book called 200 blocks and I ordered the crochet one for you. I love the little leg warmers, so cute.
