Saturday Sweets

I’m so happy that the weather decided to be miserable yesterday (keeping the crowds away at work) and lovely today (perfect for sunny coffee runs on my day off!). It’s so nice to be sitting in the study with the window open wide and seeing the blue sky… I’m saving it up because there will certainly be more cold, grey days in our future~

Here’s what I’m loving at the moment!


1) This pretty calendar.


2) Chevron patterns. Possibly because they remind me of the floor inside The Lodge in Twin Peaks


3) This photo album… I love photos, and I love airmail envelopes!

4) Living beside a train line. Is that strange? I just love hearing them go past, and hearing the dingdingding of the train crossing.


5) Feather hairpins! I think I need some of these.

6) Honking the horn in our new car for the first time and laughing because it sounded so French!


7) This pretty painting by Susan Keys Illustration


8) Ruby & Sebastian’s room over at Smile & Wave. I just love all the vintage touches and how Rachel makes the space work for her two kiddos.

9) Being given free samples of fancy cosmetics I wouldn’t usually try! Like the Clinique ’3-step system’ face products, and sachets of fancy organic soap~


10) Brunette hair, especially in big, messy buns.
